Slokill

Bio: The name “Slokill” reflects the belief that we’re all in this life together, regardless of financial or ethnic backgrounds. However, life constantly tries to beat us down. But through the hardships we endure, we gain strength and character that shape who we are. Our anthem proudly declares, “We don’t die easy, we’s a Slokill.”

Slokill refuses to give up. We are strong-willed and determined to persevere through life’s adversities. As artists with diverse influences, Slokill blends styles from blues to hip-hop, metal to jazz, creating an original, crowd-friendly, high-energy sound laced with cynicism and truth.

The band members bring their own unique inspirations to the table – from Zack de la Rocha to Dr. Dre, Body Count to ska, Les Claypool to Cypress Hill. Together, they forge a distinct musical identity that can only be described as Slokill.

Slokill fans are treated to an electrifying live experience, complete with crowd-pleasing hooks that drive a truly one-of-a-kind musical journey. The Slokill family stands behind the band unequivocally.

Slokill has graced the stages of iconic venues like The Whiskey a Go Go and The Rainbow Bar and Grill in Los Angeles, as well as headlined major industry events like Distrofest 1 and 2, and the Play Music Conference in Philadelphia. In 2023, the band received a Grammy nomination for their track “Welcome to the Underground” off the F-5 EP. Slokill has also shared the stage with legendary acts like Hed PE, FJ Outlaw, and Test Human.
